A cutting and bundling machine is only a good match when the material leaving the machine is ready for the next step. Buyers often start with the incoming roll and target strip width. The finished package deserves the same attention: it affects collection, labeling, storage and the labor needed after cutting.
Describe the output clearly
State the strip width and length, acceptable width variation, number of strips per bundle and preferred bundle size. Explain whether the strips need to stay in sequence, be sorted by size or be separated by production lot. If the next station expects a wound roll instead of a bundle, say so at the start; rolling and bundling are different output requirements.
Check the incoming roll and material
Provide the fabric type, thickness, roll width, outside diameter, core size and maximum weight. Mention stretching, fraying, coating or adhesive behavior that could affect a sample cut. A useful trial should use the actual material or a representative sample, including any difficult color or finish.
Plan the handoff after cutting
Decide who checks strip width, how rejects are separated and what information appears on a bundle label. Consider how operators will load the roll, adjust the cutting setting and clear the finished material. For frequent product changes, ask to see a changeover during the trial rather than evaluating cutting alone.
Discuss the relevant Yuancheng models
Yuancheng's catalog describes the YC-1700 as an automatic cutting and bundling machine for fabric and related roll materials. It lists a 1,700 mm working width, with 2,050 mm and 2,400 mm options, and a minimum strip width of 2 mm. The catalog also lists the YC-2000A as a double-blade cutting and bundling machine. If your order calls for cut material to be rolled, the YC-1700E is described as a cutting and rolling machine. These descriptions help narrow the conversation; actual suitability and optional configurations must be confirmed against your material and required output.
Send a sample, an output drawing or photo, and your preferred packaging instructions with the inquiry. Request a trial that shows both the cut edge and a complete finished bundle or roll.
